On November 28th, my husband Minerd and I were traveling to his doctor appointment in Tulsa.  Traffic was busy and a van was in front of us.  The van hit a tire in the road, a tire we hadn’t seen.  We ended up running over the tire going 65 mph.  Minerd didn’t have time to miss it but the Lord had time to protect us and no one was injured. Thanks be to God for his protecting hand!

This wasn’t the first time we had felt God’s protection.  On March 6th, 2012 I was diagnosed with Hepatitis C.  I wasn’t sick but they found it in a blood test.  The doctor said I probably had Hepatitis C for around 30 years.  I went to a liver doctor in Tulsa and one in Oklahoma City every 6 months.  They wanted to do a treatment which would last around a year.  This treatment was very similar to chemotherapy.

Instead of going forward with the treatment, I turned to the Lord instead.  I just prayed. A lot of other churches and brothers and sisters in Christ were praying for me too.  My doctors and nurses were also praying for me.

I continued to see my doctor.  He said since I was doing alright I could wait for treatment.  A new drug was expected to be released so I felt like the Lord was giving me an answer to my prayer.

In March of 2015, I started the Harvoni Treatment.  Instead of a year long treatment, like the one suggested before, the Harvoni Treatment was a 3 month treatment.  I didn’t have any side effects! My test in July 2015 showed I was healed.

Praise the Lord for the healing power and answered prayers!  We live in Pawhuska, Oklahoma and go to Lynn Baptist Church in Pawhuska if you are in need of a church family.
