Tragedy happens when warnings are not heeded. Nothing can be more horrifying than finding yourself in a situation that could have been avoided. For example, not evacuating when a hurricane warning has been given is a situation that could have been avoided if you had listened.
In the same way, we must remember, we do not control time. God does. And because He does, God has always been warning people about what is coming next.
At this point after the rapture, it’s too late. Many believers have disappeared. The world is in a chaotic mode. Imagine parents looking for their children. Children looking for their parents. No one is working. Highways are full of abandoned and wrecked cars. People looting and in a state of panic. This is the worst disaster that the world has ever seen. People have few if any options at this point.
Hospitals are full of injured people, but there are few doctors or nurses to help. There may not be electricity or water or gas. Everything you need for your every day life is scarce. Remember Hurricane Katrina’s devastation? Now imagine this on a world-wide scale. If this does not get your attention as a warning that you may be heading towards a situation you could have avoided, then I don’t know what will get through to you. This is not to be taken lightly. I truly recommend that you educate yourself on this subject so you aren’t left behind in this situation. Receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior today!
Now is when it gets even worse. People are looking for someone to save them from this desperate situation. They are looking for a savior to fix the world. In steps the Antichrist. The definition of Antichrist in the Mirriam-Webster dictionary is “one who denies or opposes Christ; specifically : a great antagonist expected to fill the world with wickedness but to be conquered forever by Christ at his second coming.”
Revelation 6:1-2 states: Now I watched when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals……. and behold, a white horse! And its rider had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he came out conquering, and to conquer.
The Antichrist will be a person that is very personable, a humanitarian, very diplomatic, and willing to do what others aren’t able to do. He comes from the revived Roman Empire. He promises peace to the world and has answers for those left behind (unbelievers) about the ones who have disappeared. Everyone grows to love and admire this man. Many theologians are in agreement on this subject that the Antichrist may be alive today.
Revelation chapter 6 introduces how the Antichrist will come to power through the seal judgments. The bible tells us that the Antichrist will rise to power offering peace to the world, but his agenda is and has always been to conquer the world. In the seal judgments, he is represented in scripture by a white horse. The Antichrist will set the stage for the Tribulation.
How can a loving God allow the Tribulation to take place? Many non- Christians will have difficulty understanding such hardship being allowed, but God wants everyone to be saved and uses this time to draw people to Him before Jesus returns to set up His Millennial Kingdom. The Tribulation is used to get people’s attention turned back to God (2 Peter 3:9).
