“God is so real and faithful.”

I grew up in Norway with two loving parents. They did teach me about God, but seldom went to church. As a 17-year-old, I got saved through the influence of a classmate, who has since become a lifelong friend.

I soon felt the calling of God upon my life, but as a woman, I saw few opportunities for me to do what I felt God was calling me to. At the time, many ministers presented gender roles in marriage and ministry almost as women as second class citizens in the Kingdom of God. This was really disturbing to me as a new believer.

I struggled, but began to study the Scriptures and later came to the U.S. and observed several bold women leaders. This was an incredible inspiration and encouragement to me. I was given books by Helen Beard from Australia and the late Dr. Daisy Osborn which meant a lot to me as a young woman.  Little did I know at the time that years later I would not only meet both of them, but minister side-by-side with Helen Beard in three continents and have the honor of speaking in a couple of Dr. Daisy Osborn’s women’s conferences, besides accompanying her on travels.

I tell you, God is so real and faithful. I cried out to God for mentors in my life.  As far as I am concerned, I have had some the finest I can think of, such as Pastors Billy Joe and Sharon Daugherty, Dr. Jim Richards, Dr.’s T.L. and Daisy Osborn, Bishop LaDonna Osborn, and others. One of the greatest gifts from God in my life is a beautiful family and a john-ceciliehusband who has been my love and partner for almost 35 years.

Today I have the privilege of working as a mental health therapist, where I get to see God at work in people’s lives every day. We are a part of The Bridge in Bixby, Oklahoma, a wonderful local church with great friends and ministry partners such as Antonio and Angela Moreno. For many years I have had the honor of speaking all across the world and see men and women restored from pain and oppression into freedom and ministry for God. This life is full of challenges, but I have seen God work in truly awesome ways in my life, and He is not done yet!

Finally, I am very excited about this website that is reaching nations all over the world. We are all just normal everyday people who have simply decided to trust God. He has great things for you if you will allow His Word and presence into your life and simply trust Him.
