1 Corinthians 1:24: But to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
I just wanted to encourage you. I’m here to bring you a good message. The message today is we are running out of time.
We are running out of time because you and I know that as we grow up things become different in our lives. Many of you might be struggling out there with so many different things you are going through. A lot of stress, a lot hurts, disappointments. You know what, this year, I believe that this is your year.
This is a year for you to focus on the direction that God has given you. If some of you out there that don’t have direction, I encourage you to get direction. That direction is to get closer to God this year than you ever have before. Even if you have been close to God, I want you to press down because He has something greater this year for you. That is a bigger direction.
There are a lot of things coming that he has planned for people who want to do them. There are going to be a lot of rewards and a lot of recompense not only here but also in heaven. I encourage you to get in a good church. I want you to get encouraged to get to a good bible church that will teach the word of God. I’m here and I can help with anything I can to give you a good message. Today would be a good message to get encouraged that something greater is coming.
You have to leave things behind. You can never look back. What happened last year, you have to move forward because there is something great on the horizon that God wants you to do. There is power available that Jesus promised to give us. All of those who believe in Him will have power to conquer a lot of different things that come into your life.
So I encourage you to get closer to God this year. Pray. Read your Bible. Just get a little more focused. Leave those things behind. They don’t have nothing good for you. See you then.
