Times are perilous. Are you prepared?

We live in perilous times. Perilous times where there are demonic attacks all around us: to the family, to the church, and to our personal lives. Right now, Satan is planning an attack against you. His most common attack is to attempt to make us believe that God is an unfair God and that He doesn’t care about us. Satan wants to make us feel alone and persuade us to not believe in God or His word. The plan is for us to stop trusting God altogether and to turn away from Him.

We must be like soldiers who have been trained and deployed to a specific assignment. We must be on guard watching for the enemy’s attacks and ambushes. A soldier goes to the front lines to defend our country and must be prepared and trained or he will lose his life and jeopardize the lives of his fellow soldiers. We too must prepare and train for Satan’s attacks by reading God’s word and studying the meaning behind the scriptures.

Satan knows that his days are numbered and he doesn’t have much time to change our minds about God. He is throwing everything he’s got at us and wants to change your mind immediately. You must not give into his lies! During these perilous times, many will turn away from God and follow Satan. 2 Timothy 3:1-5: But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.

These will not easy times. We are close to the return of Christ. The advice of the Holy bible-1867195_640Spirit is to be aware of our surroundings and to stand strong. But we must know how to stand strong. You must continuously seek the Lord, be thankful, and accept what He says about you. Quit fighting it. God has your best intentions at heart. He created you to belong to him. He created you so you can be loved by Him. He created you to be part of His family. He created you with a purpose to have a vision and know who He says who He is. He created you with a ministry in mind.

You must share your testimony of who God is in your life. Keep your testimony alive and continue in God’s word. You must be guarded by peace and joy. Don’t let your joy slip away from you. Your joy comes from your identity in Christ and not from external circumstances. Keep your eyes on Jesus! Worship Him, love Him, tell Him you believe in Him every day, and trust Him. Lift your hands and worship Him. Give it all to Him.

Don’t try to be a God to anyone by trying to fix their problems. We are not big enough to take care of our own problems let alone anyone else’s. We must always stay in perpetual brokenness with the Lord and let Him complete you. God is your other half and is who you draw your life from. You belong to God!

One day either our time is up and we pass away or Jesus returns. Either way, we don’t have much time. Look up! He said He was coming back. He promised us. He told us not to be afraid but to occupy and trade until He returns (Luke 19:11-20). We must be occupied with the Father’s business and with the Father’s will.

Jesus is coming back soon!
