Everyone has grown up with different values and customs. Whether you have lived in the United States your entire life or you live in another country, someone or something has had great significance in your life and shaped who you are.

God has given us the same opportunity to live and to make something great of ourselves. However, we will all face obstacles, challenges, and disappointments. Some of us will face roadblocks.  As a result, some of us feel inadequate, discouraged, lost and frustrated. Pain of all kinds and in all ways.

We have learned information from those around. Perhaps it has not been good information that we are receiving from friends, family, the media, or even what we read.Everything you see and feel, everything that your emotions dictate, everything that your culture and traditions mandate may have shaped your mentality with a painful end.

Today my friend I want you to know that your identity is not based on the influence of those around you or what has been done to you.  I would like to share with you a secret that many people have already learned to cultivate. A manual has been written for you so you know exactly how to live your life. All of the answers are written in this book by the creator God. The manual for our lives was written before we were ever born. This manual is the Bible.

Why do we chose to only read the Bible when we are facing troubles? We read and learn, but once our problem is fixed, we move on and let it go. God has written everything that we need to learn and about all of the areas that we need to change and grow. But we are too stubborn and think we can fix everything by ourselves.

I encourage you today to believe in and use the manual that God has written for you. Accept what it says and don’t argue with it. Learn what God thinks about you and how much He loves you. He has the greatest intentions in mind for each and every one of us. Just listen to what God says in Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

We have so much to learn about who God is as a Father and not just as a God. We also have so much to learn about Jesus the Son of God who is not just a name. When you begin to discover how much the Father cares, you will not want to let Him go. God will become so real to you. He will show Himself to you through His Holy Spirit and through His Word.

As Jesus said in John 14:6: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” What Jesus is saying to us is that if you want to know the Father, Jesus will take you there. This gift is only available through Jesus now.

You don’t have to live your life wondering if you are going to Heaven. You can accept Hm today and no longer call him God but call Him Father. Roman 10:9-10 will help walk you through the steps or you can watch the video below and Pastor Kim Mills will walk you through the steps.
