We were all made unique and to be a light in this world to all kinds of people. As we walk through this world, it’s important to remind yourself that you are truly a child of God. If you are a born-again believer, it is imperative that you do a check on yourself spiritually, physically, and emotionally.
As you reach into your heart remind, yourself that you belong to the family of God. No one likes to feel insignificant, but sometimes we feel like no one is listening, we don’t matter to anyone, and we are alone in this world. To God, we are significant!
If you have been adopted into God’s family through the blood of his Son Jesus Christ, one day you will go to Heaven to meet your Heavenly Father. We will be united with other believers and live together forever with our Father and our Savior. In the meantime, we all need sound teaching that gives us the security of knowing exactly who we are in Christ. We need to fellowship with other believers. We must attend a church that teaches us about God’s grace and our identity in Christ. It’s important to know that you are loved by God alone no matter what your circumstances are or people say about you.
The Bible has a lot to say about the person you truly are in Christ. Ephesians 3:6 says: And this is God’s plan: Both Gentiles and Jews who believe the Good News share equally in the riches inherited by God’s children. Both are part of the same body, and both enjoy the promise of blessings because they belong to Christ Jesus. As an heir, you and I are seated right now next to Christ’s right hand. You don’t have to perform anything to please God because you already please Him.
But being in Christ requires understanding. Every day we must learn to allow ourselves to be changed so we can adopt the life God promises us. All believers together form the body of Christ. Just like the natural body has many parts, the body of Christ has many parts and every part has a function to perform. Jesus is the head and His church is the body (1 Corinthians 12:1-5).
We are to strive to unify together not only in service to one another, but also in witnessing through the testimony of our own life as spoken and watched through the eyes of others around us. Our own life giving testimony will help us bring peace and be peace makers ready to help someone who is misguided by this world. Even a smile to someone you don’t know might save them from doing something regretful. Reach out to others. Maybe offer a bottle of water to someone. This simple act might change the way someone thinks about God.
Together we can shine for Christ. Be proud of who you are in Christ and be prepared to live the promised life He intended us to live.
Is it possible? Absolutely yes you can. Live your life from your heart.
