I love music. It speaks to my soul and to my very being. God loves music and songs of praise. Music is also a big part of Heaven. The book of Revelation tells many tales of music played in Heaven. The book of Psalms is full of songs of worship to our Heavenly Father.

I grew up in a church that sang out of hymns. While I love the old hymns, I really enjoy a lot of the modern music that we hear in church. I’d like to share a few of my favorites with you. These are great pick-me-up songs that speak to your soul. Some are sung in church, some I just hear on the radio. These are a few of my favorites:

I hope you enjoy these songs as much as I do. Use them during times you feel down or feel alone. They will fill your soul with the music and love of God.
