Touching God’s heart with thankfulness.

I remember when I was a little boy living in Mexico, I only had two pairs of sandals and less clothing than I have fingers. I also had the love of my mother which I am very grateful for. She loved all of her children unconditionally and was there to support me, feed me, and do so much more for me. I will always remember my mom as a caring and compassionate.

Now I live in America where I have a beautiful wife Angela and my four boys who I love dearly. I have a great job that I enjoy and provides for my family, a roof over my head, a few pairs of shoes, clothing, and great health. Most importantly I have Jesus as the Lord of my life and to whom I am forever thankful for. I have been given more than I deserve.

When we take a look back at where we were before and where we are now, we have so much to be thankful for. Jesus Christ made the ultimate sacrifice for us so we could enjoy our lives in peace, and have joy. Most importantly Jesus redeemed us in the eyes of His Father and set us free from sin and death.

pray-2408038_640My message to you is to be thankful and continue to live in the blessings that you receive every day from your Lord and Savior. Share your testimony with others so that people can see the unconditional love that Jesus has for ALL of us. He cares and He loves us.

The Bible reminds us of three things:

We know that it is the grace of God and the mercy of God that keeps us alive and looking forward to each day. If we look back at all the not so good decisions we may have made in the past, some that may have cost us our lives, we can see how faithful God is to us and how He continues to love us no matter what we do. God is always stretching out His hand in love to us and extending the mercy that we need.

Be thankful for everything that Jesus has done for you and everything that God continues to do for you every day. Being thankful touches the heart of God.
