Many people around the world have done amazing things for God.

I have a dear friend who has made many sacrifices for God. The more I find out about who he is and what he has given to do the will of God, the more amazed I am by his dedication.

He decided early in his life to follow God. His grandmother and mother were very committed to the Lord in ways that we may never fully know. This man has been through a lot with his wife and children.

His passion is to introduce people to the original text of the Bible and what each word truly means. He is a well-known person all around the world and has printed many books on various subjects. Reading about what he has gone through and what he has experienced with God is amazing.

Many of us would have given up, but he didn’t. He has been so committed to God and this has become his passion; so much so that he has broken the devil’s hold on his life. The devil leaves him alone because of his persistence and never give up attitude. As he continues to study from God’s word, he learns from the apostles to never give up on his calling.

The devil spends a lot of time lurking around looking for who he can break (John 10:10). He wants to confuse us and derail us from our God-given calling. But God’s word still remains the way, the truth, and the life. No matter what you are going through, refuse to give up. Have a don’t give up attitude because soon you will have victory!

The devil will give up on you if you chose to be persistent and follow the will of God. Focus on what is Godly and holy. The devil is already defeated and holds no power on this earth. Eventually he will have to move out of your way because this is what the Lord has promised.

I leave you with these words:  So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing (James 1:4). Build on this scripture and know that your faithfulness will lead you to the life that God wants you to live.
