Positive thinking can have healthy benefits.

What a difference positive thinking can make in your daily life! It doesn’t matter what obstacles you face, having a positive attitude can make even a potentially bad day into a great day.

I believe my attitude of positive thinking has benefited me greatly. While working at my current job, I have been offered many job opportunities just because people like and appreciate my positive attitude. Car dealerships, other restaurants, and even the owner of a real estate company have all tried to recruit me.  It does pay to have a positive attitude and your positive attitude can rub off on other people.

Having a positive attitude can create many opportunities for you to make new friends and can open doors of opportunity that create more income for you and your family. Having a positive attitude can also create opportunities for you to share your faith with other people and eventually lead someone to the Lord.

I remember the day that I was admitted to the hospital for high blood sugar. I chose to stay positive knowing that my situation will change for the better. We all face many positive-725842_640challenges that can bring chaos and emotion that will try to distract us from staying positive. The key is to make these things work in your favor and your attitude is what can make the difference.

Your attitude towards any situation can take you down or bring you an opportunity of blessing to your life. The Bible has a lot to say about being positive because Jesus has already won every battle we will face. God is a positive force in our lives. He spoke His word and we are here to show others the goodness of His word.

Some examples of what the Bible has to say about a positive attitude are:

  • Laugh is the best medicine. A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. Proverbs 17:22
  • Be happy, your reward is in Heaven. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matthew 5:11
  • We are never truly lost no matter our situation. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.’ Luke 15:6
  • No one can take the joy of the Lord from youSo also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you. John 16:22

Count your blessings with a smile on your face and a joyful heart. The Apostle John declares Jesus’s word in John 7:38Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, “Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” Rejoice, stay positive, and stay in faith.
