I heard a story about a man that was interested in bettering himself physically. He tried many things that people advised him to do, from going to bed early to not eating meals too late. He struggled and struggled for years and nothing seemed to work for him. He was disappointed with his situation and with himself. He finally decided to quit taking other people’s advice and to educate himself on his situation.
Believe it or not, if we don’t educate ourself about what we want to change, we cannot excel. This man found out that by educating and dedicating himself to his goals, he was able to take the necessary steps to change his situation. He started working out, eating better and quality food, and more proteins and vegetables. He was able to conquer his problem and meet his goals.
The same applies the rest of our lives and any situation we may face. We just have to turn to the scriptures. God has given us everything we need pertaining to life and godliness. He has the recipe and our part is to study His word. Read that recipe (His word), apply it, live it, and love it. Use it to change your life and share the testimony of who God is in your life. Show people what God can do if we decide to make changes. Let people see what God can do and has done in many people’s lives.
Mediate on these verses:
- 2 Peter 1:3: God has richly poured out to us.
- 1 Corinthians 2:12: God freely gives to us.
- Ephesians 4:7: Grace is given to us.
- 1 John 3:1: He gives His love to us.
- 1 John 3:24: God abides in us.
- 1 John 4:13: God has given us understanding of who He is.
- Roman 12:6: God gives us gifts.
I believe for society will change for the better once everyone finds out who they are and why they are here. Learn what your purpose is and how and when to apply it. We must turn to God and His word, His Spirit, and Christ. Many testimonies are born and recorded once we learn how wonderful life can be.
Educate yourself about who God is and let God be a part of your life. Keep on sharing your testimony of who God is and what He has done in your life.
