It is very important for us believers to read and understand Hebrews 1:14. Every person that receives Jesus Christ as lord and savior is an heir to salvation. Angels are sent to assist in our mission. We are to do the Father’s business and bring others to the kingdom. God sends angels to assist us in our mission.
Here are a few things we should remember about our mission:
- Our destiny along with our purpose is given to us before we were even born.
- The Holy Spirit and angels are involved in God’s agenda.
- We also need each other as a body in Christ to assist in moving God’s agenda along and bring others to the kingdom.
- There are areas of our mission and our lives that the Father has assigned Angels to assist us with.
With our mission mind, we should know more about the angels who assist us on our journey. We can learn about their personalities and understand how they operate so we will have an easier time working together to complete God’s will.
Angels are clever, prudent, super strong and fast. They are wise about our mission because they have been trained on every aspect and listen to direction from God.
In Numbers 22 we read about an angel God block Balaam’s path. Balaam was a rebellious prophet who had been summoned to see the king of Moab. An angel repeatedly blocked the path of Balaam and his donkey on the path to see the Moab king.
After several beatings from Balaam, God allowed a donkey to speak to Balaam and open his eyes to the angel who had been blocking the donkeys path. The angel spoke to Balaam and asked why he had beaten the donkey. The angel also told Balaam that the donkey had saved his life because the angel was sent on assignment to kill Balaam.
The angel was patient with Balaam and was patiently carrying out God’s assignment. Angels are patient beings that don’t compromise on their assignments. They are committed to their assignment and will stay until the assignment is finished. Angels don’t quit.
Because of this patience, angels sometimes wait many years or even decades on the saints to mobilize and complete their missions. Angels have been waiting on the remnant who will be proactive and turn things around for the kingdom of God.
Angels are waiting on you and me to get fired up and to assist in our God given destiny.
Stay tuned for more on angels and their assignments.
