So far we have learned that angels are always assisting us in various ways to fulfill our God given destinies. Angels are real, dependent on the Holy Spirit for missions, and they work as a unit with each other.
They are wise, swift, strong, mighty, and always busy. The only thoughts in their minds are related to furthering the kingdom of God. They are also patient and meek using the Father’s authority. Angels protect the body of Christ.
Many assignments are given to God’s angels now and many angels will be involved in future events yet seen on earth. The Bible tells us many stories about what angels do now, have done in the past, and will do in the future.
Luke 15:10 tells us that angels rejoice when one soul receives Christ. They burst with joy. There are no sad angels in Heaven. Christ’s kingdom is only peace and joy in the HolySpirit. They express this joy through dancing, singing, jumping, and shouting to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Angels are also mighty in strength and power. We read in 2 Thessalonians that the Lord will return with a host of mighty angels who will assist the Lord with His mission. They are recipients of King Jesus’s mighty glory.

The apostle John declares in Revelation 18:1 that angels are always ready for their assignment. John witnesses many angels during the revelation showed to him contributing to the events of the final days on earth. Specific tasks have been assigned to specific angel who are just waiting for the Father’s word to commence their assignment.
The stories of angels contributing to the kingdom of God can be found throughout the many pages of the Bible. Gabriel was the messenger who gave Mary the good news of Jesus’s birth. Michael is always present whenever Israel is in battle. And we even read the story of a fallen angel Lucifer who tries to turn God’s people away from the Father.
In our next sermon, we will discuss the Arcangels an the important role they play in God’s kingdom.
