We are the lead pastors of The Resurrection of Hope Church in Kisii, Kenya. and the directors of the Nyataro Children’s Home, an orphanage that is under the care of the church. It started in 2017.

About our orphanage

At Nyataro Children’s Orphanage, we believe that children are the very essence of the future. Who they are tomorrow is essentially the outcome of how they are raised and nurtured today. As the Children’s Center in the Kisii highlands in Kenya, Africa, we go above and beyond to provide our youth an empowering environment where they can fully embrace their identity and gain all the skills they need to be leaders tomorrow.

Nyataro children’s orphanage is found to the Western parts of Kenya,52 km south of Kisii Town, in Nyataro village (in the beautiful Highlands of Kisii), Nyamarambe division in Kisii county. Kisii boarders the Luo speaking community of Migori county to the south and Maasai speaking community of Narok county to the north. These two ethnical communities are always hostile whenever the time comes for the country’s General elections.

Our orphanage was started in October 2017 after severe ethnical wars were brought about by political differences. Dozens of people lost their lives due to political instability. These political wars led to many people and poor orphans fleeing to our church for safety. Our members felt pity for these kids and gave them shelter. However, this has not been easy for them.
