I grew up in Guanajuato, Mexico. I left Mexico when I was 14 years old. I remember being a good student until 8th grade. During my school years, I earned grades of a 10 which would be comparable to an A in American schools. My grades began to drop when I lost interest in reading books.

I left Mexico and came to the USA where I would eventually become a citizen. At the age of 22, I received Jesus as Lord of my life but not until I had lived a very hard life full of not so good choices. These choices deteriorated my health and my mental well-being. I believe everyone that has walked the road of despair has a testimony of how Christ has set you free.

Let’s go back to my early life and my love of studying. I loved to study math, science, history and any other material that would expand my mind. As I began to study the word of God at the age of 22, I was hungry for more and wanted to know God. I was fascinated with what I was reading and could not get enough of God’s word.

Once I began studying the word, I was hungry for everything I could find about God. I began buying books on different topics. I bought “The Names of God” by Marilyn Hickey, “Who I am in Christ” by Neil T. Anderson, and many other books.

I continued my learning journey at Rhema Bible Church in Broken Arrow, OK. I listened to Pastor Kenneth Hagin at Rhema and Pastor Bob Yandian at Grace Fellowship. I also enjoyed listening to Oral Roberts and Rick Renner. I always wondered how these men and women of God knew so much about so many different topics.

Now my library of books contains over 500 books about many different subjects. Books about God, the Holy Spirit, Jesus, the end times, discipleship, and many other topics grace my bookshelves. I have books on many themes of the Bible with a lot of reliable materials that I learned about as I attended Bible school.

God has been good to me and now God wants me to share all of the information He has taught me with you. I am always asking my Father what He wants me to learn about and what He wants me to share with you. On the website, we have learned about who we are in Christ, discipleship, overcoming disappointment, end times prophecies, and many other topics.

God has led me to a new topic to share with you over the next few sessions. Our next lessons will be on Angels and the role the play in Bible history and in our lives today. We will learn what they do, who they are, and why the exist.
